We've scored some exclusive pictures of the three new 2.5-inch hard drive enclosures that Asus is about to launch under its Vento brand, and although the products themselves aren't that exciting, it seems that Asus is trying to expand into yet another market.

The three models only feature a USB 2.0 interface, which is really odd, considering the amount of motherboards that Asus ships which come with an eSATA interface. We're not sure about the internals, but considering that these are new products, we presume they're for SATA hard drives.

The three options are black and white aluminium finish or a brown leather finish. These should go quite nicely with Asus's range of notebooks, but apart from that there isn't much to get excited about.
