LA Noire to hit PC this Fall

Written by David Stellmack

Team Bondi confirms it is happening
Team Bondi, the developer of LA Noire for Rockstar Games, has confirmed that a PC version of LA Noire is coming this fall. This ends a lot of speculation suggesting that a PC release was going to happen. Rockstar Leeds is apparently the studio that has been charged with the conversion effort.

Having played LA Noire, it is obvious that the game would be an excellent choice for the PC. The PC version of LA Noire is said to be slated to feature much improved graphics as well as 3D support. In addition, the PC version will add new features that are totally unique to the PC, such as keyboard remapping for example.

LA Noire has already sold four million copies on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but it is expected that the sale of the title will continue to grow. While the actual release date of the PC version was not confirmed, it will arrive at some point this fall.

"much improved graphics"
Yeah i will believe that when i see it.

GTA4 does look much better on my PC than my xbox but only because you can up the res, increase the draw distance and apply AA. For me that is just expected, i want to see DX11 improvements added not token gestures.

I don't understand why developers don't make games look really good and then take away features of the platforms that can't handle it EG make a game that looks amazing on a high end PC and then if you turn down X then works on a mid range, turn down Y it works on Wii U turn off almost everything and it will play on 360/PS3.

Makes more sense that way and they could re-release for 720/PS4 much more easily.

Its so strange, they develop a game on the PC for a console first, then have to go through the work of putting it back on PC. Especially now where PC graphics are so far ahead of any console, and even the average home PC can just about outperform a PS3, it makes sense to release on PC first, and then onto console.
Look at how Frostbyte 2 has maxxed the consoles, 30fps and 720p is awful, thank god it was developed for PC first.
Seeing as the next gen Microsoft and Sony consoles are coming in 2014, perhaps now is the time for developers to start treating the PC gaming community better. Many console gamers are fed up of the shi*ty graphics they have, quite a lot are buying PCs just to run BF3.

This game has no business being on the PC. PC gamers constantly whine about consoles, yet relish its games. The PC should be greatful its even getting it. If it weren't for console gaming the PC would have no decent games at all. Waiting all year for one buggy, mediocre game like BF3 to be released is ridiculous.

@Warrior24_7

good to see your back on top trolling form..

You say the PC is waiting for a decent game, your a mong. PC gets the best version of every game released, also PC had Witcher 2 months before it will hit your beloved Xbox 360.

What you don't realise is PC will outlive both the PS3 and Xbox 360 and will get most of the decent games from the new console's aswell as its own first releases, Witcher 2, Shogun Total war 2 etc.

The PC will still be going strong when your beloved Xbox 360 is gathering dust..

Just got back from the Bahamas. I'm just spreading the truth as usual, I'm just glad that you appreciate it! :-)

The same Witcher 2 that had bugs at the loading screen among other places? I got that game. You either get $h!tty, buggy versions or none at all. The PC changes every 6 months so it ain't outliving a damn thing! You must upgrade just to play the games!! BF3 anybody? EXACTLY!! The console is still going strong and always will.

A good console doesn't gather dust. The PS2 is still being sold and has outlived how many generations of PCs since it was launched in March of 2000! What DX was it back then DX6 or 7? What CPU, a pentium? What kind of RAM? I bet you can't even remember! Those PCs aren't worth a damn today and aren't even usable, they're junk! So whenever you see a PS2, bow down sphicnter in the presence of the greatest console ever made! I just love hearing PC gamers b!tch about console games then get on their knees and beg to play those same console games. What hypocritical idiots! :D

What are you drivelling on about now Warrior Princess?

A PC from March 2000 would still be fine if you ran the same software and games from back then too but PCs evolve and move on, just like consoles but at a much faster rate. I am sure you didn't stick to your PS2 when the 360/PS3 came out and said i don't need better graphics.

At the end of the day gamers love to play games whether you are a PC or Console gamer. Yes consoles get more games because there is more money to be made there but PC games look better just as PS3 games look better than PS2 games. Its nothing to be ashamed of, and when PS4 comes out that will p1ss all over PS3 games and be up there with high-end PCs hopefully and we can all enjoy gaming again.

Oh warrior, go look at the difference in graphics between the PS3 and PC versions of Battlefield, it shows just how low the console has stooped when it comes to running state of the art games.
CoD is still all based ultimately on the Quake 3 engine. I mean that's really ancient. I mean 1999-ancient. Before the PS2-ancient. Before you were born-ancient.

Really? Are they STILL making software or harware for it? NOPE!! You couldn't even access Fudzilla on the piece of $h!t!

You couldn't be more wrong! I play all of my consoles and games from time to time! I STILL play Iron Storm to this day on the Sega Saturn on a regular basis!
