Zambezi launch date all but confirmed

Written by Fudzilla staff

September 19, apparently
According to some freshly leaked slides, AMD’s target date for the Zambezi launch is September 19.

The slides indicate that FX-8100 and FX-8150 octa-core parts will launch September 19, while FX-8120 and FX-8170 parts will appear in Q1 2012. FX-6100 and FX-4100 processors are also scheduled to launch in September.

Of course, it would be good to take the dates with a grain of salt, as they are often subject to change. Our sources are not confirming it, nor denying it. In any case the launch appears to be slated for September and a couple of days would hardly make a difference.
