HX 1000W to be showcased at CeBIT

Corsair has announced a new 1000W power supply in its HX series. It should provide your system with loads of power at a low noise level, since the whole thing is cooled by a 140mm fan.

This new PSU will be showcased at Cebit, and according to the press release, it will come with 80%+ efficiency, modular design, Nvidia Tri-SLI certification, twin-transformer and solid state capacitors. The Amps on this one are still unknown, but Corsair has decided to use the dual-rail design, possibly to separate the Tri-SLI from the rest of the system.

The new HX 1000W power supply will include a five year warranty, and it should be available at the end of the March at a price tag of US$280.
