Warner Bros has confirmed that the PC version of Batman: Arkham City has been delayed till November. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions remain unaffected and will apparently make the announced ship date of October 18th in North America.

There is no exact word why the PC version has been delayed, but the rumors suggest that a number of potential factors could be the cause. Still, the leading thought is that the company wants a separation between the console release and the PC release in order to maximize profits. Recently, several developers have been complaining very loudly about piracy on the PC platform affecting sales on the console platforms.

Other than saying that the PC version was delayed until at least November, no additional information was announced for a specific release date.
