4.7-incher with Beats audio
During its London event HTC officially announced its Sensation XL smartphone, the second phone to be paried with Beats audio technology. In addition to the Beats and bundled Beats Solo headphones, this 4.7-incher packs Qualcomm's single-core CPU paired up with Adreno GPU.

The full specification list starts with a 4.7-inch Super-LCD 800x480 capacitive display placed behind Gorilla Glass, Qualcomm's MSM8255 chipset with single-core 1.5GHz Scorpion CPU and Adreno 205 GPU, 768MB of memory, 8 megapixel rear camera with 28mm F/2.2 lens, dual LED flash and 720p video recording, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage space without microSD slot, 802.11bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA 14.4Mbps, micro USB slot, and a 1600mAh battery.

The Sensation XL runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS with Sense 3.5 UI and everything is packed in a quite sleek 9.9mm thick aluminum casing. The price hasn't been announced but the new Sensation XL smartphone is expected to show up in EMEA and Asian markets in early November.

A big low resolution display with a single core and no micro sd.

Meh, pass.

I was not aware that Dr. Dre was skilled in acoustical design. I'd rather buy a Gun by Dr. Dre then headphones.

When it comes to music and sound, Dr. Dre is a master. Remember that he's a producer and has been for the last 2 decades. I think that he's used to listening to stuff and say: "I like this" or "I liked the previous one better" ... :)

The resolution of the screen and the cpu may be not high end but still fine, no micro sd slot though is a joke. Specially with such low internal memory.

What a "sensation". Typical generic HTC shit they announce every week. Just slap big screen (from Samsung), fast processor (from Qualcomm) and operating system (from Google) together and there you have it. Korean made crap.

No , it's made in Taiwan and it's screen isn't from Samsung . It's a 960x540 4.7" which i haven't heard any samsung screen has . AND , 1.5ghz is actually faster then a 1ghz DC . Wake up apple fanboys .

Hey retard, I don't own any apple or Android.

Work provides me with my FREE BB Torch and service.

While you use your device for play, I actually use mine for work and the BB keyboard IMHO is superior to any touch screen I've tried to date.
Granted the BB screen and speed are little to be desired, but free rules.

So don't assume I'm an anything fanboy.
