Transformer Prime on November 9th, Win 8 tablets in Q3 2012

Thanks to Asus' official Q3 financial presentation the rumoured November 9th launch date for the Transformer Prime tablet has been confirmed. The presentation also revealed Asus' plans to release two new tablets in Q1 2012 as well as its plans to release two Win 8 based tablets in Q3 2012.

In addition to Q3 financial and regional sales results, Asus also mentioned two new Android tablets that are scheduled for Q1 2012. Unfortunately, no details were given regarding these two new mistery tablets but some sources are already whispering that these could be the second generation of the EeePad Slider and the already previewed Asus PadFone.

The financial report also revealed Asus plans to have two new tablet devices based on the Windows 8 platform in Q3 2012.
