Gearbox getting new digs in Frisco

61,000 sq ft of new office space to occupy


Gearbox Software will be moving. The company is the first one to commit to leasing office space in the new Frisco Square development, which will be starting construction in 2013. The company will be moving from its current HQ located in Plano, Texas to the new office space in Frisco Square which is about 15 miles away.

It will occupy 61,000 square feet of the new office space. The Frisco Square development is described as a mixed use building, which was apparently very appealing to the powers that be at Gearbox. In addition to offices, the building will also feature restaurants and apartments as part of the Frisco Square development.

While Gearbox works on Borderlands 2, you might enjoy the news that a new Borderlands novel is coming on November 22nd, which is called Borderlands: The Fallen. According to our sources the novel has nothing to do with the plot for the Borderlands 2 game.
