Assassin’s Creed to arrive October 30th

Ubisoft investing more this time around

Ubisoft has confirmed that the publisher will be releasing the next chapter in the Assassin’s Creed saga on October 30th when Assassin’s Creed 3 will be released. While we are calling it Assassin’s Creed 3 for right now, that is only because the game does not yet have an official name. It does, however, have an official release date.

The bigger news is that Ubisoft is dumping more money into Assassin’s Creed 3 than it has in previous releases in the series. This is evidenced by the fact that Ubisoft indicates that the title has been in development for three years while other offerings in the franchise were released.

Ubisoft says that we will hear more about the game in upcoming months, and the next title will not feature Ezio, as that story was over when the trilogy was concluded. Also, it is apparently likely that the game will be coming to the Wii U, but Ubisoft would not confirm that this is the case.
