Crysis 3 is now confirmed

Accidentally showed up on Origin

We told you a few weeks back that Electronic Arts was planning for Crytek to do a Crysis 3 (or so a number of our sources had told us), but that it would not be announced until E3 in June. Surprise! EA accidently spills the beans itself with the box cover art and news of an Xbox 360 and PC version coming soon, according to its own download service, Origin.

While the listing and art have been removed from Origin, we hear that work continues; and while we thought that we would not hear about it till E3, our sources say that EA could be planning an announcement sooner than that in conjunction with an upcoming magazine article on Crysis 3. Whispers suggest that it could be as soon as next week.

While only the Xbox 360 and PC version were outed on Origin, we would assume and have no reason to think that it will not be released for the PlayStation 3, as well.
