Sapphire has added yet another graphics card to its already impressive Radeon HD 7000 series lineup based on the new Graphics Core Next architecture.

The new Radeon HD 7770 Vapor-X OC Edition is based on AMD's 28nm Cape Verde GPU and features 640 stream processors organized in 10 Compute Units, 16 ROPs, 40 texture units and 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface.

As we are talking about an OC Edition card, Sapphire has included a decent factory overclock taking the card from reference 1000MHz for the GPU and 1125MHz (4.5GHz effective) for memory to 1100MHz for the GPU and 1300MHz (5.2GHz effective) for the same 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface.

In order to keep the temps at bay, Sapphire resorted to its own Vapor-X dual-slot, dual-fan cooler that features vapor chamber cooling technology. The new Sapphire HD 7770 Vapor-X OC Edition features two DVI (DVI-I and DVI-D), HDMI 1.4a and DisplayPort outputs, with support for up to four monitors.

The card is already listed in Europe with a lowest price set at €134,49 and should be available as of next week.
