We learned that Microsoft plans to change the online buying experience and it will let end users buy Microsoft software directly from the site.
This is something that they didn’t do previously and Microsoft believes that this is yet another way to increase its profits. This is a tough call, as once they start selling their software, they will start competing with existing retail and e-tail sales.
We don’t know the fixed date, but our sources have suggested that this should happen very soon. We don’t have a better timeframe than that.
