Foxconn boss claims iPhone 5 will put Galaxy S III to shame

by on21 June 2012

Warning: Politically incorrect statements about Koreans included

Hon Hai Precision Industry Chairman Terry Gou does not seem to think too highly of Samsung’s Galaxy S III, or Koreans in general for that matter.

Speaking at the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting, Gou confirmed that Hon Hai, or should we say Foxconn, struck entered an alliance with Sharp. He hopes the alliance will allow it to beat Samsung in three to five years.

Gou told the press that his lifetime goal was to defeat Samsung, which he went on to describe as "a company with a track record of snitching on its competitors." All is fair in love and war, and the same goes for business, so Gou advised consumers to wait for Apple’s iPhone 5 rather than go for Samsung’s Galaxy S III, saying that the new Jesus phone will "put the Galaxy to shame."

As if this wasn’t enough, the man who once famously compared himself to a zoo-keeper and his suicide-prone workers to animals, went on to bash Koreans.

"I respect the Japanese and especially like their execution and communication styles," Gou said, "Unlike the Koreans, they will not hit you from behind.”

We guess Gou is referring to South Koreans, as he seems to have a lot in common with North Korean leaders. He just happens to believe in Apple rather than Juche.
