According to the post over at GSMArena.com it appears that Galaxy S III might be getting the Jelly Bean update on August 29th, the same day when Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy Note II phatblet.
The August 29th date does not come as a surprise considering latest surfaced rumors that Samsung has been quite busy in making sure that Galaxy S III gets the Jelly Bean update as soon as possible. Alongside new rumors about the possible Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S III, GSMArena.com also scored an unconfirmed picture of the new Galaxy Note II.
Although it looks like a real deal considering all of the recent rumors saying that the new Note will have a design inspired by Galaxy S III, the picture comes without any confirmation.
Although Samsung's Galaxy S III might be getting the Jelly Bean update on August 29th, the new Galaxy Note II will most likely launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
