Details of Halo 4 season pass confirmed

Written by David Stellmack

Microsoft Studios

War Games Map Pass will cost $25

The Limited Edition version of the upcoming release of Halo 4 has suddenly started looking much better since 343 Industries has confirmed that the War Games Map Pass that is included with the Limited Edition release will be separately priced at $25.

Once you do the math, buying the Limited Edition version of Halo 4 saves you 15% over the cost of purchasing the three DLC packs, which each contain a new map. In addition, Limited Edition buyers also get two exclusive helmets and a Falcon emblem as part of the Limited Edition package.

Due to be released on November 4th, Halo 4 marks the first exclusive new Halo effort from the development studio at Microsoft that took over from Bungie. Sources tell us that supplies of the Limited Edition version may be tight, so you will want to lock in your copy of the Limited Edition version with a pre-order if you want to make sure that you get one.
