The rumour mill just can’t get enough of Apple’s new 7.85-inch iPad mini.
Digitimes is reporting that Apple suppliers will ramp up iPad mini production in September, just in time to meet holiday demand.
Apple is said to be planning an October launch for the baby iPad and the device was rumoured to be in limited production since June. In September production is estimated to reach four million units.
If true, the figures indicate that Apple is confident that its new iPad will manage to outsell the Nexus 7 and Microsoft’s Surface tablet by a wide margin.
