Leaked pics show purported LG Nexus

Written by Fudzilla staff

Out of focus, of course

A bunch of blurry photos showing what is supposed to be the new Nexus phone, based on LG’s Optimus G, have made their way to XDA forums.

The photos don’t show much. First off they are pretty poor and the phone appears to be in some sort of glossy case. However, the Android About screen lists the phone’s is running “Full JellyBean on Mako” and Mako is the internal name of an internal development theme used on previous Nexus devices. Mako is apparently some sort of shark.

Google is rumoured to be expanding its Nexus program, so we should see Nexus devices from other manufacturers as well. At least we hope so.
