Android 4.1.2 OTA update rolls out

Written by Fudzilla staff

For Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S

Google has started the Android 4.1.2 update for Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S devices, but so far only GSM models will get the OTA update.

Android 4.1.2 is a minor update. It’s just 15.1MB in size and it’s supposed to fix some stability issues and bugs, so don’t expect many new features. Practically the only noteworthy new feature is improved notifications functionality, as it allows users to expand notifications with one finger.

In any case we’ll check it out as soon as we get it. Not because it’s interesting, but just to poke fun at our staffers who are still waiting for Jelly Bean for their non-Nexus devices.
