LEGO to branch out to Legends of Chima

Written by David Stellmack

First of three titles has been released

LEGO will be entering a new universe with the news that three titles are coming in the next several months for the Legends of Chima universe. The first three planned titles has already been released.

Speedorz is a mini-racing game that is coming out today for the iOS platform. Speedorz is produced by TT Games in conjunction with 4T2. The title allows players to race in locations from the Chima universe against Chima characters.

A PlayStation Vita and 3DS/DS title called Laval’s Journey is expected to be released in late summer to early fall. Legends of Chima Online is a free-to-play title that is an online open world title in development by WB Games Montreal, but we know little beyond the name of the title and that it will be a free-to-play offering.

The three titles represent the first of the Legends of Chima titles and it remains to be seen if the fantasy land that is inhabited by magical animal tribes will attract gamer attention enough to lay the ground work for additional titles in the universe.
