LG's 55-inch OLED coming in March

Written by Slobodan Simic

CES 2013: To hit US at US $12,000

Although it was detailed quite a few times and already showed up for pre-order in Korea, LG's 55-inch OLED TV fate in the international market has been unknown but according to the latest reports, US consumers will get it in March.

LG's 55-inch OLED TV is already available for pre-order in Korea for around 11 million won which is somewhere around US $10k while first deliveries could be in homes in February. LG noted that it should be available for pre-order immediately but that part of the website is still nowhere to be seen.

In case you missed it, there should be three models but currently 55- and 65-incher are only two in line while the larger one is scheduled for launch in 2013. LG was also keen to note new partnerships with Activision, Verizon, Google and Disney.

You can find the US website here.
