Bungie to finally reveal Destiny

Written by David Stellmack

First glimpse to come February 17th

So far, all we have been able to find out about Bungie’s first next title since leaving the Microsoft fold is that it will be called Destiny, and that the developer has a publishing deal for it with Activision.

Now we have learned from Bungie community manager, David Dague, and not only has he confirmed that Destiny is the name of the new title that they are working on, but that they have finally set a date for the first peek into the new game.

According to Dague, on February 17th Bungie is planning to “give you your first glimpse into the vision that’s driving the creation of our brave new world.” Sounds exciting, if you ask us.

The big question that many of you have been asking us is if Destiny will be coming for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, or will the new game be strictly for the upcoming new consoles from Microsoft and Sony. We will just have to wait and see if this question is answered during the sneak peek that Bungie gives on Destiny on the 17th.
