Did Bethesda show Fallout 4?

by on18 June 2013

Said to have shown it behind closed doors

Bethesda officially didn’t have anything to say about Fallout 4. Instead, the company focused on Wolfenstein: New Order and The Elder Scrolls Online during their show at E3. Sources say that Bethesda asked those visiting the booth to reserve two hours so that they could play Wolfenstein and Elder Scrolls and see what the PR folks called a games presentation.

Although not yet officially announced, behind closed doors Bethesda was said to have confirmed Fallout 4 for an announcement before E3 2014, but it will not arrive in 2014. The projected launch of the title, however, is October of 2015; as of June, the game is apparently about 55% completed. The game is being designed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, but that could change before it is all said and done. However, that is the plan right now.

The game is said to be set in a post-apocalyptic Boston. The story is still unclear, according to sources, but we expect the blanks to be filled in by the time the official announcement comes. No multi-player is planned, but the possibility of co-op play is something the developers are looking at. The good news is that it is coming; the bad news is that we still have quite a bit of a wait till it arrives.
