Written by David Stellmack

Crackdown & Dead Rising 2 for Gold Members

The next round of Xbox 360 free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers has been confirmed by Microsoft. Starting today, Gold Members will be able to download Crackdown for free till August 16th. Starting August 16th till the end of the month, Gold Members will be able to download Dead Rising 2. As a special bonus, in addition to Dead Rising 2, Gold Members will also be able to download Case Zero which was the standalone episode for free as well.

The selection of Crackdown and Dead Rising 2 might appeal to more players than some of the other choices Microsoft has given away so far. The good news is that they games are free and if you didn’t play them, they are not bad games. The best part is that once you have them in your download history, you will have access to them and can re-download them at any time.
