US blasts al-Assad’s Instagram page

Written by Nick Farrell

Repulsive

The United States taken time out from running the world to denounce Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s Instagram page.

The embattled Syrian leader's office took to the social media site to post pictures that include Dr Assad greeting supporters and his wife, the Apple fangirl, Asma comforting the injured. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf told reporters that this was nothing but a despicable PR stunt.

She said that it was repulsive that the Assad regime would use this to gloss over the brutality and suffering it's causing. We are surprised she is shocked. After all it is not the first time that the State has used a news service to gloss over the truth. Look at Fox News.
