Emilio Ghilardi

We’ve managed to confirm that Emilio Ghilardi, AMD’s new VP of EMEA, has started working at his new position and we now know what has happened to Alberto Macchi, the previous boss.

We’ve learned that Alberto stays in the operation, but at the same time he will now report to Emilio.

We also heard that this is not the last change at AMD. Remember, AMD has promised its investors that it will cut its workforce by 10 percent by the end of Q3, and they only fired some 5 percent.

Let’s just hope that their new changes will work well for AMD.
