HP Tegra 4 tablet leaked in benchmark?

by on14 August 2013

Strange resolution

It appears that Nvidia has managed to score another Tegra 4 design win, which is not something we hear every day.

Chinese VR Zone has come across a GFXBench listing for an HP device codenamed Bodhi, which appears to be a tablet. It’s powered by a Tegra 4 clocked at 1810MHz and it has a rather odd display resolution of 1600x1128, or 1600x1200.

This means it’s a 4:3 design, just like Apple’s iPad. Most Android tablets nowadays ship with 16:9 or 16:10, although there’s no shortage of cheap iPad knockoffs with 2048x1536 or 1024x768 displays. There’s no word on size, either, but we suspect it’s probably a 7.x- or 8-inch device.

HP is finally starting to take Android tablets seriously and a few weeks ago the company rolled out the Slatebook x2, a high-end hybrid with a keyboard dock and 1920x1200 screen. The Bodhi sounds like something smaller and cheaper.
