Written by David Stellmack

Three choices for fans to choose from

As has been tradition for the Forza franchise, the fifth offering and the first for Xbox One will be available in a Limited Edition offering that has finally been confirmed by developer Turn 10 and Microsoft. The Limited Edition version will follow pretty much the same format that the company used for Forza 4.

The highlights of the Limited Edition offering include:

* Collectible Steelbook case

* Decal sheet featuring Forza Motorsport 5, Xbox One and Audi window decals

* 1,250 car tokens worth $9.99

* Limited Edition Car Pack featuring: 2011 Audi RS3 Sportback, 2012 Aston Martin Vanquish, 2013 Ford M Shelby Mustang GT500, 2013 McLaren P1 and 2013 SRT Viper GTS

* VIP Car Pack featuring: 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C, 1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird, 1991 Mazda #55 787B, 2011 Ford F150 SVT Raptor and 2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

* Day One Car Pack featuring: 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe, 2013 Ford Focus ST and 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, plus a Day-one themed livery and custom tuning package for each

* VIP Membership featuring exclusive benefits, including 2x player reward acceleration, access to exclusive multiplayer events, an exclusive in-game player card badge, and in-game gifts from the "Forza" community team

This brings the versions of Forza 5 to three that will be offered. The Limited Edition, The Day One Edition, and the Standard Retail Edition. Hardcore fans of the game will likely opt to pre-order the Forza 5 Limited Edition version which will cost $79.99 and is available for pre-order now. Regular fans of the franchise should try to lay their hands on the Day One Edition which includes the Day One Car Pack which is a nice extra value for sure.
