Reaper of Souls for console?

Written by David Stellmack

Diablo 3 expansion could happen

From the announcement at GamesCom 2013, we know that Blizzard is planning a Diablo 3 expansion pack for the PC version of Diablo 3, but could they also be planning a console DLC release as well for the console versions of the game? Officially there is no comment at this time, but sources think tell us they think it could happen.

While the word from Blizzard is that the team working on the Reaper of Souls expansion is focused only on the PC version, we think Blizzard will wait and see how well Diablo 3 performs on the console platform and if it does the kind of numbers that they expect, we suspect that the Reaper of Souls expansion is a no brainer for a DLC release in the future. We when we say the future, that means don’t expect it any time soon or so our source say.
