Third Riddick game is in development

Written by David Stellmack

Vin Diesel confirms Starbreeze to work with Tigon

Vin Diesel has confirmed that a third game in the Chronicles of Riddick franchise is in development with his studio Tigon Studio and the original team at Starbreeze who worked on Escape from Butcher Bay has been reformed to work on the project.

The game is said to have more of a MMO flavor, but since it has only been a few months since the project has gotten cracked up, there is no estimated release date yet and the platforms that the game will appear on have yet to be determined. It is safe to assume however, the game is at least a couple of years away from its eventual release.

More details will be coming in the months ahead that will fill in a lot of the blanks we would suspect. No publisher has been announced.
