Although it has already officially denied rumors that it will use a 5.7-inch screen on its upcoming Oppo Find 7 smartphone, Oppo has also now confirmed a previous rumor that it will come with a 2K screen.

Although it did not shed any details regarding the precise resolution, Oppo is most likely talking about Quad HD (QHD) or simply 4x 720p resolution, the 2560x1440. Oppo already has one world's first under its belt as its Find 5 smartphone was the world's first smartphone with a 5-inch 1080p display.

The rest of the recently rumored specifications for the Oppo 7 included Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 chipset and 3GB of memory in order to handle the high resolution. Although it already talked about it, Oppo still has to reveal an official unveiling date and we are sure that we will hear more during CES 2014 that kicks of on January 7th in Las Vegas.

Although Oppo brags about the Find 5 and its 5-inch 1080p screen on Twitter, HTC's Butterfly was actually the first one and recent announcement from Vivo on its Xplay 3S smartphone with 5.5-inch QHD screen might ruin another Oppo's world's first.
