Dell offers XP as an extra for Vista users

Have to get rid of Vista somehow

Hardware
maker Dell has decided that the only way to shift Vista boxes is to offer Windows XP as 'an extra.'

For an extra $99, Dell will offer a fully functioning, pre-installed copy of Windows XP Professional. It is being called the Windows Vista Bonus program, which is fairly ironic. But Dell is convinced that it gives customers the option of running XP now and transitioning to Vista when they're ready.

It is designed to fix a problem for Dell, which is finding it hard to ship Vista boxes to corporate clients who still want to run XP. Many have said that they would rather wait until Windows 7, but that could also mean they do not upgrade their hardware.
