XFX 290X samples are out

Written by Fuad Abazovic

Better picture

Last week we managed to get the first pictures of XFX Radeon HD 290X custom card that comes with seven heat pipes, a copper base, Double Dissipation 90mm fans and of course an XFX logo that glows in the dark.

The sample card is on its way and we have managed to score a few better pictures of this interesting custom Hawaii card. It should end up more quiet than the non-reference card and we expect it to overclock well.

This is what it looks like, this time in daylight.
