Titanfall Beta info due this week

Written by David Stellmack

Only for Xbox One & PC players

So we now know there is going to be a Titanfall Beta, and it will only be for players on the Xbox One and PC. Of course, there is still a lot more to know; and we are now told that Respawn plans to release all of the additional info, such as where you can get access to the Beta this week.

Rumors suggest that the Beta will start on 2/14 and run till 2/19. Players will evidently need a Beta key and the developer plans on giving away as many Beta codes as it can. The Beta keys will not be region locked. It is not clear if some players will be given priority because of prior EA purchases or the fact that they have pre-ordered the game. We should hear more about this in the next day or two.

Players in the Beta will be added in waves with the hope that as many players as possible will get a chance to sample the game prior to release. It is also confirmed that there will be no Beta for the Xbox 360 version, as there is simply not enough time to make it happen.

We will update you as soon as we have the final info on what you have to do to obtain a Titanfall Beta key.
