No 2014 release for Quantum Break

Written by David Stellmack

Remedy’s X1 exclusive will not arrive this year

Remedy Entertainment and Microsoft have jointly confirmed that the Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break will not make its appearance in 2014 as hoped. Instead it has been bumped to a 2015 release.

Remedy will apparently be showing the game for the first time in August at Gamescom. The game which is said to combine the cinematic action with a live action show will follow Jack Joyce as he attempts to prevent the end of time.

No word on exactly why the game was bumped to a 2015 release. From the sounds of it, the bottom line is it simply will not be ready in time for a 2014 release.

Read more here and see a sneak peek of Quantum Break.
