Microsoft confirms Xbox One bundles

Advanced Warfare to get first themed console

Microsoft has finally confirmed the bundles that we have been telling you about over the past several weeks. With the exception of a couple of twists, we had half of it figured out already.

Europe will be getting a FIFA 15 bundle rather than the Madden 15 bundle that we are getting in North America. Both bundles include the black Xbox One, one wireless controller, and no Kinect. Depending on the bundle you get a digital download version of either FIFA 15 or Madden NFL 15 and the special bonuses that go with it. This bundle will retail for $399 USD.

The white Xbox One console with a white controller will finally arrive with the Sunset Overdrive bundle. The bundle includes a the white Xbox One, a single white Xbox One wireless controller, and no Kinect. A digital copy of Sunset Overdrive is included for download. The Sunset Overdrive that is included is the Day One Edition, so you get all of the bonus and weapons that are part of the Day One Edition. It will arrive alongside the game on October 28th. We are told that retailers should start taking pre-orders right away. This bundle will retail for $399 USD.

Microsoft will be releasing a Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundle that will arrive on November 3rd at select retailers. The Advanced Warfare bundle will make the first time that Microsoft has released a themed Xbox One that is painted to match the game it is promoting. The Advanced Warfare bundle is Limited Edition, so supplied will be limited. It will include the Advanced Warfare themed Xbox One console, an Advanced Warfare themed wireless Xbox One controller, 1TB hard drive, a chat headset, special in-game sound effects, additional in-game content, and a digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Daye Zero Edition that early access and double XP on November 3rd. The console will arrive at retailers on November 3rd and will set you back a cool $499.

While we expected to hear something about the Xbox 360 holiday bundle, Microsoft has yet to announce it. We suspect news on this will come a little closer to the start of the holiday season. When asked if we will see 1TB consoles in something other than a Limited Edition, no one seems to know. Our sources say that it will not happen till next year.
