Season Pass for The Crew

Written by David Stellmack

No real surprise that it is coming

While not yet officially confirmed by Ubisoft or the developers of The Crew, a Season Pass option will be available for purchase to go along with the game. References to the DLC Season Pass for The Crew is referenced on Steam. Apparently the game will be sold in both a Standard Edition as well as a Gold Edition which will include the Season Pass.

While the Season Pass has only been referenced for the PC version of The Crew, sources tell us that the Season Pass option will also be headed to the consoles as well, but we doubt that Ubisoft will be bundling it with a special Gold Edition for the console versions of the game. Instead we hear that it will be sold separately, just like every other Season Pass these days.

As for what the Season Pass might include, we don’t really know the specifics yet. We do know that plans were to roll out regular free content updates, and we have to suspect that this is still the plan. Sources tell us that the DLC will come in the form of additional cars and add-ons that are beyond the free content. We suspect that were we get a little closer to the release we will get a much better idea of what the Season Pass DLC will include.
