PC version of GTA 5 requires more time

by on16 September 2014

Want to ensure that it is as polished as possible

Rockstar has announced that it is pushing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto for the PC into 2015 to ensure that it is as amazing and polished as possible.

The delay does not affect the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version which will be released on schedule this November 18th in North America and November 21st in Europe. While some might suggest that Rockstar simply is pulling resources off of the PC version to help in finishing the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions to get them out this November and you might not be wrong to think that.

With all of the extras that are being added to all three versions, it is obvious that you need time to finish all of that development. While the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of GTA 5 do take the game to the next level, the PC version is said to be able to take things to the limits. So maybe waiting till 2015 to get that extra polish will be worth it.

Rockstar has not confirmed a new release date for the PC version, but we are hearing that it will not be a long wait as they currently are targeting late February or early March according to sources.
