Microsoft’s Games with Gold for October will offer a couple of good titles for October on the Xbox 360 and something new for Xbox One.

Starting on October 1st the Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download Battlefield 2: Bad Company and that will be followed up by Darksiders 2 starting on October 16th till the end of the month. If you missed Bad Company 2, it for sure is worth a look and the same goes for Darksiders 2.

As for Xbox One Gold Subscribers, starting October 1st owners will be able to enjoy Chariot from Canadian developer Frima which comes to the console via the ID@Xbox independent developer program. We don’t know a lot about this one, but the launch trailer does look interesting. (If you have not snagged Super Time Force, you might want to pick it up quickly before the end of the month.) Apparently Microsoft has nothing else new that they are going to offer on the Xbox One for the month of October.

As with all Games with Gold titles, you have to be a current Xbox Live Gold subscriber to take advantage of being able to download these free games.
