YouTube pulls feminism advert

Children are not allowed to say f*ck

Youtube has pulled a feminism advert which showed cute children saying “f*ck.” The ad, entitled "F-Bombs For Feminism: Potty Mouth Princesses Use Bad Words for Good Cause", five girls between six and 13 are filmed wearing Disney princess costumes and swearing about sexism.

One girl even raises her middle finger to the camera.

"What is more offensive?" one of the girls asks, "A little girl saying f'*ck or the f*cking unequal and sexist way society treats girls and women?"

However the message managed to offend YouTube after critics dubbed it "vulgar" and "exploitative". FCKH8, who created the ad, say that the advert's critics are "missing the point".

Spokesperson Luke Montgomery attributed this to "people's stupidity."

He said: "The word 'f*ck' is just impolite. It doesn't hurt anybody. It's not a crime, it's not a sin. It's just a word that is at most slightly impolite."

Which is why we had to star out the vowel. Here are the vowels we took out – uuuuu feel free to put them back in for a grown up version of the story.
