MSI has refreshed its notebook lineup with another model that is based on Intel's Centrino2 platform, the MSI P621.

The new P621 uses Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU clocked at 2.26GHz that is paired up with Intel's GM45+ICH9M-E chipset and Intel's X4500 integrated graphics adapter.

The 15.4-inch screen has a native resolution of 1280x800, while the rest of the specifications include 4096MB of memory, 250GB of hard drive capacity, multi DVD burner/reader, fingerprint reader, numeric keypad, 4-in-1 card reader, 1.3MP web cam, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, Intel's 4965AGN WLAN, e-SATA and Firewire.

The new PR621 weighs 2.6kg and ships with a 6-cell battery with an upgrade option for 9-cell battery. The price is unfortunately still unknown as this notebook is still not listed at any retail/e-tail site in Europe.
