Liquidators raising prices to maximize profit

Those looking for a deal at Circuit City might want to wait a bit longer, as we have received multiple reports from a variety of sources that many of the liquidators in charge of liquidation of the merchandise at Circuit City are actually raising the prices.

The way it seems to be working at the moment is that the liquidators have gone through the store and marked everything up beforehand in order to maximize profit before the gradual markdowns occur that customers will receive at the checkout lane.

While there is no law against this practice, it does appear that the majority of the stuff at Circuit City is currently cheaper at Best Buy, could be even cheaper at a discounter like Wal-Mart, and most of the time is much cheaper priced over the Internet.

We have to encourage buyers to be aware of what they are buying and to even consider doing some price comparisons before spending their hard earned money at the Circuit City liquidation sale.
