Turbo module for Accelero S1/S2

Turn your passive into active cooling

 

Arctic Cooling has announced an cooling add-on for its Accelero S1 and S2 passive graphic card cooling solution, called simply Turbo Module.

New Turbo Module is actually two, as Arctic Cooling PR states, "high performance low noise fans" that can be mounted on the Accelero. Arctic cooling also claims that Turbo Module can help the overall PC case ventilation. As for the mounting, new Turbo Module feature clip-on design that allows easy installation.

As for the technical specifications, Turbo Module is two 80x80x15 mm fans giving 42 CFM at 1500RPM's. Fans feature Fluid Dynamic Bearing, and weight 35g each. As for the performance, according to Arctic Cooling, fans should boost the noise level by 0,1 Sone, and lowering the temperature on both Accelero S1 and S2 by 14°C.

New Turbo Module will be available in July, at suggested price of USD 11.90 and Euro 8.90 without VAT.
