AMD had some good notebook news too. After nine years in the dog house, AMD chips will find their way back to Toshiba notebooks. Ed Fisher says the company is more than pleased to oblige, and we should expect Toshiba Turions in Q3.
This means they have probably finalized some designs already and Toshiba will start shipping after the summer. This is an important victory for AMD, the best notebook news they've had since the Dell deal, and their people were very happy.
