The company has signed a deal with Dell and Emerson Network Power, a component and industrial equipment maker to sell advanced cooling systems and services to data centre owners.

Emerson makes the Liebert XD which consists of refrigerant-filled pipes that snake around the server racks and claims to cut the cooling power load by about 30 percent to 50 percent.Traditional systems use air conditioners to blow chilled air up through the tiles in the floor.
