Two new 360 demos to download

Microsoft is now confirming that they are pushing a new system update to existing Xbox 360 consoles. The only thing is that the new update contains no new features. Our sources tell us instead that the system update contains fixes and code necessary to pave the way for the next update which will feature new Facebook, Twitter, and Last FM support that will arrive in the next update.

In addition to the new system update, if you happen to be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber you can download the new Brutal Legend and Forza 3 demos which are now available for download. The Brutal Legend Demo checks in at a massive 2GB to download while the Forza 3 demo is only half that at 1GB.

In other Xbox 360 news, sources are confirming to us that the delayed Splinter Cell Conviction, which was originally supposed to arrive for the holiday season and then postponed, will now arrive on February 23rd. While it will be a console exclusive for the Xbox 360, it will also be released for the PC platform, as well, at the same time, according to our sources.
