CES 2010: HAF X is the name

  Cooler Master
is cooking up one fancy looking new case that goes under the HAF X brand. HAF has been very successful for the company and this will be the latest addition to HAF family.

We were not allowed to take a picture of the full case, but we are sure you won’t mind that these three ladies got in the way of our picture. Our friends from Cooler Master simply didn’t want to release a picture of a non-finalized prototype. We can tell you that the case comes in black, has 4 exposed 5.25" bays, while two of them are HDD bays, really easy to use. You can even plug an SATA HDD on top of the case and make it work, which is something really useful. There are five 3.5" bays and all of them are hidden.

You should be able to fit all mATX, ATX and E-ATX boards inside. If you still not convinced that this is the case for you let us tell you that it comes with a front mounted 230x30mm red LED fan. You’ll find two 200x30mm fans and one 140x25mm in the rear of the case. Side 200x30mm fan comes as an option. Front and top coolers are 19dBA at 700 RPM, while the rear one is a 1200 RPM unit with a nearly inaudibly 17dBA of noise.

The I/O panel has four USB 2.0 ports, one Firewire, one eSATA, one Mic and one Audio port. The case should be ready to ship in early March, right around CeBit.
