Cebit 08: Fighting Fusion?


We have
confirmed that Intel will include a IGP on Nehalem. This doesn’t need to happen with the first Nehalem, but it is in the pipeline. Nehalem will ultimately be more than a single product.

Intel gets the importance of graphics and it wants to go down that lane, and ultimately we believe that a part of the memory controller and most other parts of chipsets will eventually end up on a CPU.
