We noticed quite a number of new products at EVGA’s booth, and Chieftec’s Hi-Fi HTCP case really captured our attention. This silent rig is water cooled, courtesy of Innovatek. One large but stylish water block covers the CPU, Northbridge chipset and VRM.

Using just one water-block eliminates the need for a forest of pipes in the case, and the pump in question is Innovatek’s Eheim 1104 water pump. It is a pump and a reservoir in one device and you can place it virtually anywhere.

We see that EVGA used Asus’ P35 motherboard, and the water pump is placed between the quiet (silent Phantom) Antec PSU and the radiator. A radiator is still a must, but a quiet fan will render it inaudible. Graphics card used is EVGA’s 8600 GTS, which is good enough for this setup, and it’s also water cooled.
