Games Convention 08: 18.4 display with Geforce 9700M GT

Acer has showcased its flagship gaming notebook branded Aspire 8930G. The notebook is one of the biggest models on the market, it has 18.4 inch display and it a Core 2 duo T9400 Cpu at 2.53GHz and 6MB L2 cache, and Geforce 9700M GT turbo cache graphics card that can address up to 1791MB of memory. Of course this is Montevina platform, or something that we know as Centrino 2.

The machine comes with 4GB of DDR3 memory, two times 320GB hard drives, blue ray drive and Wlan and Bluetooth.

The notebook has a rather unique touchpad that lets you scroll documents easier or play your music or videos easier. Overall this full HD capable notebook is definitely a good alternative for gamers that want to think they are mobile, and this big and heavy notebook is definitely something that you might consider if you want a big screen and sort of mobile computer with a good graphics card.
