MSI demos Geforce 8600 GTS / GT

We fear no Nvidia


Nvidia is waiting until April to lunch G86 and G84 cards and the cards are ready> MSI dared to show them at Cebit on its MSI boot. MSI is showing a few DirectX 10 branded cards on its booth.

First one is named V091 and is likely to be Geforce 8600GTS, has 256MB of DDR3 memory, DVI Dual Link and will be overclocked when it hit the market.

Second one 8600GT has better cooling system. It comes also with 256MB DDR3, DVI dual link and it is one O.C. Edition card. In a moment 8600GT has some issue with bios and Nvidia is working to fix it before lunch in April..

V089 is from 86xx family but comes with HDMI and Dual DVI Link connectors, has 256MB DDR3 and is HDCP ready. Dual Core Cell MSI chip is still here.

The last Direct X10 card is passively cooled, has a heath pipe and is likely to be Geforce 8500. It is based on G86 chip. It has 256MB DDR2 memory, one DVI Dual Link, HDMI and is HDCP Ready and has a composite out..
